The First Baptist Church of Lexington, recently sponsored a clothing collection for the Displaced People of Ukraine. They took gently used clothes, shoes, and socks for individuals who fled their homes with only what they could carry. It was such a successful event with so many volunteers showing up to pack boxes, they were able to send THREE truckloads to Northern VA, where they will join others to be transported to Poland.
